The Awards are a year-long program individually tailored to your social enterprise and leadership situation.
Are matched with highly-skilled/experienced “Strategic Coach,” who will be your guide through-out the year and meet monthly with you
Are matched throughout the year with relevant “Mentors” to assist them in meeting the goals they establish with their coach (our mentor database contains over 40 highly qualified mentors who work with us in range of business-building areas),
Become a part of our Founders Peer group. These cohorts meet quarterly by video meeting, and are facilitated by the Gratitude Network; peers work together to solve specific business issues that your business may be facing
Are referred, as appropriate, to possible funding sources during the 2nd half of their award year (late in 2017, Gratitude will be releasing a new program for funding “match-making” for both non-profit and for-profit)
Receive a Gratitude Network toolkit, customized for their cohort of reading materials, resources, web-sites that will aid them in their success.
Are given visibility on The Gratitude Network website, Facebook page, email newsletter and various live events, and
Remain a value Gratitude Network Alumni and family after their award year concludes for future events, and ongoing activities.
Eligibility for the Gratitude Awards:
Social impact mission dealing with CHILDREN and / or EDUCATION in one of these areas:
K-12 learning systems, platforms and apps
childhood disease or nutrition
youth and incarceration
Non-profit or for-profit organizations are eligible
“Scale” stage company:
initial funding already completed
business model being tested or already proven
Strong fit with the MISSION to fund childhood and/or K-12 education (see list of areas on left)
Organization seeking to SCALE an already existing product/service and business model
Extraordinary LEADERSHIP TEAM
INNOVATIVE product/service, business model, or approach
Potential to IMPACT many children, adolescents, students, teachers, and/or schools
Scaleable BUSINESS MODEL leading to sustainable or profitable organization
Applicants are being accepted currently for the second cohort of 2017 Gratitude Awardees. We will be processing applications on a “rolling” basis, so early applicants will be notified within 4-6 weeks of applying.
Last year, an elite panel of judges, including respected leaders from the investor, philanthropy, social entrepreneurship, and relevant sector perspectives reviewed ~550 applications from around the world.
